About Me:
I started researching my Grandad's military in 2000.  As I kept digging, I realized there was literally zero internet information about the Saskatoon Light Infantry.  So in honour of my Grandad, everything I have found and compiled, I have put together on this site to share with other family members, like me, who are curious as to where their relative had been, with the SLI.
I have recently expanded and added the 5th Battalion CEF as well, as they were perpetuated by the SLI, and my Great Uncle was a part of that Battalion.
I answer hundreds of emails a year, and try to find information, or direct family members to other resources and collections in their search for information.
Many people have submitted information and photos to the site, and that is always welcome.
                                               Thank you for visiting.
                                               Angela
